Heading to DC

We're planning a visit to our nation's capital this summer. It's been a couple of years since we've taken a big family roadtrip. The planning is a lot harder than I remember! This time, we're asking a lot of our friends for suggestions. So far, so good. We're also asking Senator Durbin's office for a tour of some of the attractions. We'll see if that works out...stay tuned!

Illinois house bill 148 should come to a vote on Thursday May 5th. Our fearful Governor Quinn says he will veto the bill should it pass.

Hey Quinn! Bring it on buddy. You still believe that only criminals should have guns. You still think that the police can protect us. Did you know the police could be as much as 30 minutes away in our downstate counties??? And you want us to stand around with our hands up and wait while our wives and children are under seige or worse? Hey buddy...you are testing my Christian disposition.
