What now brown cow?

So we decided to punt on the new barn. To get what we wanted would be way too far out of our price range. So for now it is just the same old stuff. Owning horses in the winter really isn't that fun. Turn them out in the morning, clean the barn at night, feed, turn them back in.

We've been doing the Facebook thing this year. Kinda neat to see what everyone is up to. I really like being able to see pics of all my friends, and hearing what they are up to outside of work and stuff. I just posted some old pictures of planes and helicopters I've flown. A bit of a trip down memory lane....

Thinking about another barn

We're thinking of building another barn. Mainly because of the weather here in Central Illinois, we just don't have a good place to ride the horses. It is either too cold or too windy. We maybe have 10 good days a year when the weather is great. Someone remind me a again why we live here??? Oh, that's right. It's where we work.

Regina and I have started "doing" Facebook. It is pretty cool seeing what everyone else is up to. It is a lot easier to follow than a bunch of blogs. It is also neat to see everyone's pictures of the holidays, parties, and the like.

We're keeping busy at church with teaching the 1st through 3rd grade Sunday School. We are having the kids spend a lot of time in the Bible. GO FIGURE! It is going pretty well.
