2nd cutting of hay
We baled another cutting of hay last week. Patrick and his family came over, along with Grandmother and Grandpa Warren. We ended up with 95 bales, which now gives us enough hay to get us through the winter. We'll probably do another cutting in late September just for the practice (:-0). Regina didn't get to help at all this time - the men did all the work. Bummer!
Beans from the garden
The girls got their first experience in snapping beans from the garden. They didn't mind the work, but they sure didn't like the taste! They must be too used to pre-processed food. Too bad, because there are more beans on the way, and we've got plenty of tomatoes that should be ripe in another week!
